American trend forecaster G. Celente urges to prepare for ‘financial disaster’ in 2022 Opportunities for 2022

NewsLearn & ToolsReports Join us on Twitter or Telegram 149Finance news JustinasBaltrusaitis 10 hours ago 3 mins read Renowned American trend forecaster Gerald Celente has projected that the ongoing Federal Reserve measures to tackle the rising inflation will likely result in the ‘biggest crash in world history’ in 2022.  In an interview with the Stansberry Research, Celente insinuated that the current inflation figures might be higher and the rising interest rates as part of the Fed tapering will trigger the crash.  He noted that the Fed retained the low-interest-rate environment for long to avoid the crash, but the rising inflation means the agency has no option. Celente added that the pandemic monetary response like stimulus checks and continuous printing of money laid the base for the expected crash. He, however, acknowledged that the measures worked for the short term. According to Celente:  Related He believes that the government could have avoided the situation if it had not resolved to lock down the country at the onset of the pandemic in early 2020. According to Celente, considering the current rising Covid-19 cases, the initial lockdowns have played a minimum role in return, hurting businesses.  Opportunities for 2022 On opportunities for 2022, …

But chat changed in 2021 with Finiko, a Ponzi scheme targeting Russian speakers throughout Eastern Europe, netting more than $1.1bn from victims. It invited users to invest with either bitcoin (BTC-USD) or tether, promising monthly returns of up to 30%. Read more: Live crypto prices Another change that contributed to 2021’s increase in scam revenue was the emergence of ‘rug pulls’. These are particularly common in the DeFi ecosystem and includes developers of a cryptocurrency project — typically a new token — abandon it unexpectedly, taking users’ funds with them. The biggest rug pull of the year centered on Thodex, a large Turkish centralised exchange whose CEO disappeared soon after the exchange halted users’ ability …

Curious case of IRDAI allowing share premium as equity capital

The IRDAI had sent a certificate given by an accounting firm whereby ITI RE had brought in equity share capital of Rs 205 crore and Rs 102.50 crore towards securities premium account. Did the Indian insurance regulator consider share premium as part of paid-up capital and issued the licence to operate to a private reinsurer? It seems so, as per the recent answers given by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) to a series of questions raised under the Right to Information (RTI) Act about ITI Reinsurance Limited (ITI RE) and also as per its Annual Reports. For starters, the minimum capital required for a private reinsurance company is Rs 200 crore. However, IRDAI had asked ITI RE to bring in an additional capital of Rs 300 crore – Rs 100 crore before granting of licence to operate and another Rs 200 crore within three months of granting of the licence or March 31, 2017 whichever is earlier. The ITI Re was given licence to transact reinsurance business — general, life and health — on December 30, 2016. As per the IRDAI`s annual reports for FY17, FY18 and FY19 the equity share capital of ITI Re was …
